Attendance Policy

 Maintaining Attendance Record 2010 – 2011 (1431 – 1432)

The ELI, King Abdulaziz University has decided to follow the following procedure for maintainingthe students’ attendance records.

The points mentioned here are aimed at each quarter.

 Any student whose absences add up to 6 days or more will be allotted a DN.

 If a student produces a valid excuse for her absence within a reasonable time, it will be
acceptable.

 Teachers should maintain a proper attendance record on everyday basis.

 Class lists can be printed from ODUS. (The lists are available in English too.).

 The excel sheet will record the absences for each quarter.

 In the attendance sheet as soon as the number of absences reaches 6 or more, a DN
status is allotted automatically.
